Dear Falcons Family,
We understand that many parents and players want to get back to the field, and so do we, but our primary focus is on the safety and well-being of all of our members. The Brooklyn Falcons will continue to monitor the progression of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) to determine when it is safe to return to activities after May 15.
Just because we can’t participate in outdoor activities, doesn’t mean we can’t get better. We have uploaded the drill of the week to the blog on our website. Coaches have provided you with the Down Dog workout app to keep you physically fit. We are also conducting weekly meetings with players just to keep you in the baseball state of mind. We hope everyone is enjoying the Q & A series that we have provided you with current MLB players and coaches. Take advantage of all that has been provided to you and you will see that you will not have lost a step once we get outdoors.
I miss the laughs, the sweat, well…your sweat…and watching you grow from boys to men. I promise that all your hard work will not go in vain. You have learned something so much more than this year than baseball qualities. You have learned that hard work will get you where you want to be.
“Compete and Earn, Nothing is Given”
Stay strong,
Brooklyn Falcons
P.S. – I’m ready to take care of anyone in MLB The Show 2020. Come see me. Carod10
